NCAA touranment selections

First off I would like to say that the Wisconsin Badgers got screwed out of a number 2 seed by Texas! Not only did we beat them in Texas we actually won our conference tournament while Texas lost to Kansas. The experts don't think very highly of the Badgers "slow, defensive style" and I often ask my self why? Why do the Badgers get very little love when we are the best defensive team in the Country? They say we have no go-to guy and not a high enough powered offense, a it pisses me off! You often here analysts say that it is good to have balance and it is good to not have to count on one player for your offense and yet hear are the Badgers with one of the deepest teams in the country a team that has 7 or 8 guys who can step up and lead the team in scoring and we hear the analysts say that the Badgers are not a great tournament team. Well I won't be surprised at all to see the Badgers go to the Final Four and you shouldn't be either.

Arizona St. got screwed over as well when Arizona got in over them but hey we all know the Arizona's streak of consecutive appearance now at 24 and lets not forget Kentucky another "regular" participant had to get in even at the expense of better teams. Just goes to show that the NCAA still looks at past accomplishments more than what you did during the season.

Georgia defied all odds by winning the SEC at-large bid by winning 4 games in 3 days including 2 in one day.

Tomorrow I will post my picks for the tourney.

Milwaukee Bucks get blown out by the Celtics 99-77

My beloved Milwaukee Bucks got blown out on their home floor tonight in a home coming game for Ray Allen and newly acquired Sam Cassell. Ray missed tonights game but "Sam I am" came off the bench and scored 10 points with 8 coming in the first half. The bucks were without Andrew Bogut and it showed as the Celtics had their way inside the paint.

For Milwaukee it was their 5th loss in a row and continues the trend in what has become a disappointing season. The bucks at the start of the year were picked by many to win a playoff berth and and possibly contend for the Eastern Conference title. However many injuries to both starters and reserves along with poor "me first, team second" attitudes have left many fans wondering just what the hell is going on with the team. The GM is sure to be on his way out(Hopefully) Larry K seems overwhelmed in his first full season as coach and many wonder if the owner, U.S. Senator Heb Kohl should sell the team. I for one think Kohl should just hire a competent GM and let him hire the coach and stay the hell out of his way! We need someone to come in and revamp this team in a sot of a "mini-rebuild" Keep Bogut and Yi and start a fire sale with the rest. We have players on this team that are making way to much money and we need to get rid of these players to give us a fighting chance.

The Eastern Conference is very weak and for the bucks to not even be able to keep pace in such a weak conference makes it hard for me to watch them play.

Right now all I can say is thank GOD that the Brewers will be starting the regular season soon.
